Don't resent God's timing His blessings might not be immediate, but they will come if we are faithful to do what he says in his word! 1 Samuel 2

Our first night! and 2.28.17

1 night down, many years to go....  💓

Our evening was pretty quiet here.  We did have to go out and get some new shoes for little brother.  Not a big surprise since we also did the same for Nian.  As we figured the difference between our first few hours/night between Nian and little brother are huge.   Little slept thru the night, Nian was up every hour. He loves noodles, water, and juice. Not too fond of the tub and taking off his over sized cloths even though he was sweating. He went in the crib without much fuss and fell asleep holding my hand, or maybe I fell asleep holding his. And he's ALL about his Dada......  can't blame him there! He's so quiet yet BUSY..  1 is 2, 2 is 4..  Um Shellee it's more like 2 is 8 with this guy lol. We are loving it though.  He's busy in the sense that he's always doing something, not in the way of running all over.

He fell asleep in the carrier on the way to get new shoes, and Nian did as well in Joe's arms.  Not sure what we were thinking waiting so long to go there.  Luckily we didn't have anything too heavy to get.  Little is talking more but we're not sure what he's saying.  He let me snuggle with him a little bit this am, then it was right over to get Dada up.  He did call me Mama yesterday when I got back to the room from doing paperwork, melted my heart.

He likes the stacking cups, and mini Jenga blocks. His face lit up and he got SO excited at see the block... He also likes his puffs and a mini water bottle.  He is NOT fond of stuffed animals. and he has yet to drink/take his bottle. He took a few sips last night but that was it.  He will shake his head No if he doesn't want/like something. He likes sitting on the little ledge by the window.
The orphanage director gave us a photo album and our memory stick filled with pictures and a few videos.

Nian was a really great big brother yesterday.  He was so patient and understanding.  We had a few melt downs later in the day but nothing our reassuring couldn't be and end to. Such BIG changes for him too.  He's trying really hard to remember the new toys are little brothers and that just because little brother gets something doesn't mean he will too.  We did get him a "Big Brother" lego gift so he loved putting that together.

We skyped with Grandma and Grandpa last night. Just need to get with Papa and Mimi. We all miss Isabel and are hoping to skype with Aunt Brenny and Uncle Brian soon so we can see our little girl.  Little brother has had no exposure to animals so we're not sure how he'll be when we get home.

He started to cough a little bit last night so we gave him some cough medicine. Hoping we can get this before it gets too big. We figured this would happen which is why I brought a TON of cough syrup. We ran out last time.

He's curious to where Joe has gone, but thankfully has no interesting in going into the bathroom to verify he's there.. AND I just found out he's ticklish!  Bahahahaha

Today we traveled to the civil service office, which is the same location we got our Nian.  This time we were at a totally different location for Gotcha day.  We got our official papers making him official our son!!! The officer there also thank us specifically for adopting a 2nd time. "hey we go where our children are!"  then we headed back to the hotel for a few hours of rest before heading out to the passport office to get his picture taken. Which was no easy task as he fell asleep on the ride there and DID NOT want me to put him down.  He was screaming, not really sure how they got such a good pic of him..  Then we walked around the corner to the actual passport office to apply for his passport.

In between we had a quick lunch that was awesome and HUGE.

Right now we are just hanging out in the room, well Joe is fast asleep and snoring.  Me and little brother are going to go to Starbucks the order some dinner.  We head out early tomorrow to visit the orphanage.

Thanks for all the prayers, love, and support.  Talk to you soon..
