Our next step is getting 3 of the last 4 documents we have for our Dossier SEALED which will start this Saturday at the SOS office, then we'll send them off ot the Consulate in Chicago. Once back we'll send them with our last set of pictures to our agency. Hopefully soon after that we'll do our bio-metrics (fancy for finger prints for the USCIS).
It's very exciting to be at this point of the process. We know soon we'll be seeing our child for the first time and we can't wait to find him or her with Nian right beside us. He's very excited to be having a little brother.
We decided to finally put a few gift cards to good use and celebrate this big day with dinner out. Lesson #?? for this mom, don't assume your 3 1/2 year old is going to remember his shoes when you tell him it's ok to go barefoot to the restaurant but he needs to bring his shoes with him. Well you guessed it this is how we showed up..

Luckily Baba was going right by Meijer on the way and got some awesome Mickey Mouse flip flops on clearance no less.. Then Nian proceeded to say EWWWW when we walked in the door. Silly boy. But his buddy Rex helped him color so that was fun.
| Uh my short little arms can't reach the paper |
