Don't resent God's timing His blessings might not be immediate, but they will come if we are faithful to do what he says in his word! 1 Samuel 2

Slow Buss BACK to China

YES we have started the process to go BACK to China for lil lil brother. We're not sure how Isabel is liking that idea, but Nian is loving it!   We sent our application in to CCAI Feb 4th , we got our approval Feb 9th and just today we sent back our service agreement to get the process started!  They should receive it tomorrow, and we hope to get our new Dossier guide tomorrow. And yes it's just as emotional as it was 2 years ago.

Don't let that cute face fool you the smirk says it all!  He was full of it the whole time we were at the post office. Which prompted me to get envelopes to prep at home. He gets that from his Dad! lol.  Gotta love the stinker.....

We feel more in control of this paper chase having been through it before just because we've been through it and have a better idea of what we need to do and how fast/slow we can go with it all. Our plan is to head back to China for Nian's lil brother in Feb 2017.  Chinese New Year is Jan 28, 2017 so we hope to be one of the first groups over afterward. But we also know that we don't have any control and God has a great sense of humor.  So we can only pray and follow His lead. Can't wait to see what that is.

Right now we have 3 fundraisers planned.  Feb 24th I'll be hosting a Thirty-One party where I'll earn 15% of the sales which is an awesome thing. Check out my Facebook page for the link to the party page. If you'd like to order something please message me or you can find the online link on the party page.  #2 will be a Pasta Dinner with a Bake Sale and Auction on April 2nd.  We already have some really great items to Auction off. We are looking forward to sharing more information on that once we have our location secure. #3 is a garage sale at my sisters neighborhood in Lowell the first weekend in May.Again I'll share more information on that as it gets closer.  We have a few other ideas we are working on and can't wait to get started.  We still  have some items at my cousins shop in Lowell - Red Barn Consignments and Antiques check out all the great items they have while your there.

Some things in this process are the same while a few will be different.  Luckily when we applied for our Visa's we got a 10 year, which matches our passports.  One less thing we need to get.  However we'll have to get Nian an American passport, and he will also need a Visa.

We have also learned that CCAI has 2 new hotels they are using in China.  Not sure how that will change our estimated costs but we're working on getting that information. It will be nice to be back in China, and we can't wait to grow our family.  Nian is excited to have a little brother.  YES we do plan to take him with us.  We wouldn't make the trip without him  It's so important for him to experience his home country and be there to welcome his brother.   We are not even close to the match process but we know it will be a little boy when the time comes.

We are also very HAPPY to know our friends Adam and Bev are in the last stages before heading over to get their daughter. We can't wait to share that wonderful journey with them.  We continue to pray for them, as well as Kristen and James who are close to being LID. So many wonderful things happening and some great families coming together this year.

We can't wait to share this wonderful journey with you all again.  We hope you will continue to keep us, and our fellow adoptive friends, in your prayers.  We hope you continue this life changing journey with us.

God's Blessings to you and have a Safe weekend!

Joe, Becky, Isabel, Nian, and Lil Brother Buss
