1 Samuel 2

Don't resent God's timing His blessings might not be immediate, but they will come if we are faithful to do what he says in his word! 1 Samuel 2

Our 1st Easter!

He is Risen.  Alleluia!

What a wonderful day we had, and the weather was great.  We started our day with Easter Service at 730am.  While up at the communion rail getting our post communion blessing Nian gave Pastor, and mama, a little chuckle.  While Pastor was saying the blessing Nian was looking at him shaking his head YES. This is something he often does while we are praying at dinner.

After service we headed home to relax a bit, aka nap for Baba who is feeling a bit under the weather.  We then headed out to my parents for dinner, and later an egg hunt. Nian had a great time playing with his cousins (1st and 2nd's) and his Aunts/Uncles.  And another BIG FIRST for him was going to Grandma and sitting on her lap.  What a wonderful gift he gave my mom by doing that, she was SO excited.
This boy likes to clap!

Today we went to lunch with Nonna.  Nian loves his snackers at Olga's and the soup. It was great to see him grab Nonna's hand as we were walking out.   I think he made Nonna tear up when we said goodbye.  He came back out of the car to give her a hug, Twice! Both of these were done without prompting.  I'm so glad he's so comfortable around Nonna. Nonna sent us home with big cupcakes that had a cadbury egg inside them. Nian decided to put the whole half in his mouth, even tho it doesn't fit.  This is often the car with food and him!

Now you see it

Yep you can still see it....
This is my last week off sadly.  I head back to work and Nian goes off to daycare. We're going to take each day and enjoy it to the fullest.  I know he'll have a great time at daycare and be well loved and cared for while there.  This is by far my favorite thing to do...  watch this precious beautiful boy while he's sleeping.  He's so peaceful.  Once he's awake though, he's 100% 2 year old boy!  I LOVE it! Even when he's yawning he's still at play!

The lawnmower that sounds like a 747!

Hoping you had a wonderful Easter.
