1 Samuel 2

Don't resent God's timing His blessings might not be immediate, but they will come if we are faithful to do what he says in his word! 1 Samuel 2

April 19, 2015

It surely is a date to remember!  Not only is it our Anniversary date, it's my sister and brother in laws anniversary date, and most importantly it's the date Nian was Baptized!  It also marks 3 months since we got this beautiful, fun, loving, precious boy.

We started the day early, not my choice I do have to say....  We went outside to play a bit before getting ready to head to church. Nian loves to play on his car, and with the neighbor boys cars. He was so good during church.  Afterwards we shared a cake with everyone at the service, then headed to Joe's parents to have lunch and spend some time with Uncle Mike, Aunt Karen, and cousin Travis.  We don't get to see them very often and Nian had a great time.

Joe and I celebrated our 7th anniversary in a very quiet way and focusing on Nian's special day. We joke about the "7 year itch" saying and how our 7 year itch AND our midlife crisis was going to China to get our child. Well at least some got a sports car out of it! lol

Playing with the neighbor boys
Hanging with "Don" Jameson lol

His new ride - a BMW

His Cake - the symbol is his name in Chinese

Our little Dragon

His - Mama are you done yet face!

YEAH mama's done taking pictures - he does LOVE to clap

Last week seemed to be going so well with Nian at daycare but this week we seem to be having some separation issues. He wakes up with me in the morning, fusses the whole time until I leave then really starts to cry.  Once I'm gone he settles down and enjoys his time with Baba until....  he gets to daycare. Today was better than yesterday and we pray each day improves.  We know it's so hard for him to have yet another change/transition in his life.  Please keep him in your prayers.

Thanks for visiting.  He sure keeps us busy and I try to update when I can. God's blessings to you!
