Here we are.

Well here we are with another weekend coming to a close.  I think that Lazy Saturday is starting to turn into Lazy Weekends...

We went out to dinner with the majority of the Buss family for the parents 56th Wedding Anniversary.  We had such a great time with everyone.  Sadly no one else could head over to the house afterwards, and we left the camera in the car so no Buss Sibling pics for our Dossier.  We really didn't want to get one at the restaurant so we'll have to go without it.  Thankfully we have plenty of pictures to chose from so that won't be an issue  We may need to get one more of the two of us.

Thursday we went to the local USCIS office to get our finger prints taken. Good thing we had an appointment because there was NO ONE there.... If only the SOS office was that way how great would that be!  The process was quick and painless. And of course more paperwork was to be done while we were there.

On the way home I stopped and found some older books and a Frappuccino!  Good times..

We also found out that same day via email that our Home Study agency would not be providing International Adoption services after the end of August. Bummer.  Luckily we have our home study done but who do we go to for our post adoption visits and Lord forbid we have to update our home study prior to adoption how would that work?   We have contacted CCAI and have a list of agencies they have worked with.  We will be check on a few more as no others on the list are local.  The closest one at least an hour away.  We'll ask others who they have used and pray that we are lead to the right agency for us to use when the time comes.

Now based on others time frames from application to approval if we follow that time frame we should have our I800A approval around the beginning of August.  Then it's a quick trip to the SOS at Eastbrook mall, yeah I know it has a new name but I don't know what it is.  Once we get it certified at the SOS we'll overnight to the courier in Chicago for authentication and it's off to CCAI, along with some of items, for critical review, and translations then it's off to China!!

We believe once we are LID (our dossier Log In Date) that our match will come quickly.  Oh happy day that will be.
