I have made the copies needed and added copies of both our birth certificates, our marriage license, and copies of our passport, with the later not needing to be Sealed (process of notarization, certification and authentication). Since we already sent sealed birth and marriage certs in our dossier for Nian the Chinese government no longer requires we send sealed docs again, just copies. YAY money saved there!!!!!
Nian's ready to send it off!
Aren't they pretty!!!

While I was working on some emailed Nian was being very good and busy doing the dishes, at his request. No child labor here he wanted to do them. I plan to show this picture to him in about 10 years when he bulks at having to do the dishes. Oh and when he gets married so his wife knows he in fact does know how and can do the dishes. That's a little marriage joke between Joe and me.
He decided he needed to takes some pictures too
We also kicked off our Puzzle Fundraiser. You can job the group on Face book here FB Puzzle Page .While we know this kind of fundraiser can be hit or miss we wanted to try it. We love the idea that you can sponsor a piece of the puzzle and leave a lasting mark on our journey. That we can look at the back of the puzzle and show our little guy all the support and love he/we received before he even came home.

Like any good building it all starts with Jesus as our corner stone!
I also held our hotel room in Guangzhou which is the last city we'll be in while in China. This is where our little guy will get his medical check and be issued his US Visa to come home. We plan to use our points for this last hotel which is a huge money saver, and for a little extra we can upgrade to the Executive lounge like last time where we get free breakfast, all day drinks/water, snacks and a happy hour type dinner at night. So worth the upgrade not only for those items but also the bigger room. I found out via a group page that we could actually hold the room for multiple weeks at a time. So very nice since we're really not sure what travel dates we'll get. We're still hoping for February, but we'll have to see what God has planned.
Nian is doing so good at speech therapy and his last ENT appointment showed he's where he should be for his hearing and that he shouldn't need anymore tubes once the current ones fall out. Wonderful news for sure. His has his first dentist appointment in a few weeks so we're praying that goes good. We did count the number of teeth he currently has and after checking with Aunt Vickie is has all the teeth he should for his age. We're hopeful that means he'll have all of his permanent ones as well. Sometimes with the Cleft Lip/Palate some teeth are missing all together.
We continue to talk about little brother and all the wonderful, and honestly not so wonderful changes he'll bring to Nian's life and ours. I say not so wonderful because lets face it, a 4 year old doesn't like to share their things, and to them everything is THEIRS... We know it will be as big of a transition for him as it will be for us. We find with Nian if we continue to talk, discuss, and explain any changes coming up from bedtime habits to attitude he adjusts so much better and quicker. Don't get me wrong we're just like everyone else and we have various
We are 1st on the waiting list for Preschool this fall. While we don't wish for anyone not to attend we do pray that a spot will open for Nian. I know right, how do you pray for a spot to open while not praying that someone doesn't send their own child!? I mean we don't pray that someone won't send their child, but we know Nian will only get in if someones doesn't... We just pray he can go and then let go and let God do the rest.
Thanks for stopping by and continuing to give us your support, prayers, and love. We feel them as we move through this incredible journey for a 2nd time! We continue to pray that God ministers to your needs as well.
Have a wonderful week!
