This weekend saw many first for Nian. (pronounced like your KNEE and the letter N, not neen, neon, or nee-ann because yes I have heard him called each of those and they are all wrong)
We celebrated my Dad's 75th birthday on Sunday with brunch on the fire. Nian experienced his first bon fire, and breakfast cooked on the fire, his first S'more though not his first chocolate as his Papa gave him 2 after breakfast! Dad knew us kids were all coming out but he was surprised to see more family and friends show up. We got him good with that little surprise. Nian liked Papa's lawnmower it's was much nicer than his own!

Another first for Nian was staying with his Grandma and Grandpa for a few hours on Friday after daycare closed early. We have only left him with daycare, so this was a big first for both of us.
He got a 1st lesson on baseball from cousin Evan. And helped Baba mow the yard.

MINE has become a big common word around our house lately. He's good at know what items are actually Mine (his) but a little slow on what things are"mine" (not his). He's very quick to tell you what is MINE, and he'll tell you multiple times! Like tonight the phone suddenly became MINE when Aunt Shellee called to talk to me..... Isabel is now MINE just because someone can't leave her alone. When told to keep his feet off me and I held them to the side I was reminded that those feet are MINE. Oh the many things in this house that are MINE. Gotta love this kid.
He said a New word this weekend. I pulled the carpet in the "Hallway". I told him he'd be able to run his cars down the "hallway" now that the carpet was gone. The Hallway he says.. What a moment!
