Christ our Lord is Risen today! Hallelujah!!!
The Buss family started the day off with Sunday service, then a little breakfast at church. Home for a few hours to relax and just about the time we're ready to doz off it's off to my parents for Easter dinner. The nieces and nephews were there and had a great time at the egg hunt. What a glorious day it turned out to be!
Today made me realize this will probably be (we hope and pray) the last Easter we have as a family of 3! We hope next Easter we will be a family of 4! Isabel is hoping she has a little brother or sister she can hide eggs for here at the house.
Come to think of it this year will probably be a year for "last of" for us! While we are anxious to be united with our child we will also remember and embrace the "last of" we experience this year!
Today we also worked on getting more of our 11 total pictures we have to send with our Dossier. We have to send 3 of just the two of us and 8 of us with other people. Sadly Isabel of course isn't considered "other people" so while she can be in the other people pictures with us we do need another 2 legged person as well! They weren't kidding when they said to start right away on getting pictures because it's not as easy as one would think! And no my friends we can't use old pictures. They want pictures that will actually look like we currently look. So as much as I'd love to send a bunch of pictures from my "smaller" years of marriage we can't do that! I think we were able to get a few more today so we're slowing getting there.
Happy Easter everyone and thanks for sharing this journey with us! We are so Blessed to know Jesus and that he has saved us. We can't wait to share that joy with all of our future children. How wonderful it is for us knowing God is in charge and takes care of us every day!
Amen!
