Ok so I obviously meant to do this post earlier in the month. It was super nasty warm, like around 80 (ick) and rained constantly. Now it's finally fall weather. woot woot.
We celebrated Mid Autumn Moon Festival without the moon cakes again. But we still had a great dinner. I always forget it takes a few days for the moon cakes to be ready to eat. The boys had fun and were excited about the rice crackers, a favorite. Nian asked for Congee but i'm still working on that one.. I'll get it made one of these days.

That weekend we put up some fall decorations, and did some shopping in our super hero costumes. Hey your only young once, I need to find my own... The boys had fun trying on different masks, and of course wanted to buy all sorts of candy.
Next up was cousin Ava's Birthday party.. Happy 4th Birthday busy girl. Ya'll thought Cheng was a fast paced boy... He's got noting on his cousin Ava,wowzers.... We had a nice meal, cake and ice cream then headed over to Chuck E Cheese for the first time. The boys loved it. Yay us... lol 😉 That week the 3 of us also got to get flu shots. That was a joy. 😜

Our weekends have been busy this past month. We had a pumpkin carving party, sister pedi, time at Klackles which was super busy. The boys are super excited about trick or treating this year. They keep changing their minds about what they want to be. Good thing they have a selection due to some super cheap finds. We'll have to wait and see what they end up doing. We drove past a few spooky houses so we had to make our house spooky too. We had conferences for Nian and he's doing so good at school. Both boys are really, they love school and always get excited Sunday night because school is the next day.
