Today we sent cake to daycare so everyone could share this special day. Then Joe stopped at the Thai restaurant for dinner, and we did our own family thing. He loved all the presents Nian picked out for him, and even let him help put them together and play. Nian did really great with it all, as we all know how hard it is for kids to not rush in and rip the packages open as "helping". For a few minutes there Cheng was more interested in his ice cream than opening anything up lol. but that's ok too., Reminded us of Nian that first year slowing unwrapping each gift one small piece at a time.
Everything else is going good for us here. Getting ready for a few more parties this weekend
including a nice Birthday party on Saturday with friends and family. Our summer has just flown by and soon fall will be here (woohoo). These past few mornings sure have felt like it too 😉
